Celebrities Lend Their Sarcasm For Your Right to Know About GMO Food

"What makes you think you have the right to know?" asks Danny DeVito in a witty, ironic public service announcement by the political action committee sponsored by consumer advocacy group Food & Water Watch in support of Proposition 37. California's ballot initiative to label genetically engineered foods. A diverse, all-star cast joins DeVito in the "Right to Know" PSA, including Bill Maher, Dave Matthews, Jillian Michaels, Emily Deschanel, John Cho, Glenn Howerton, Kaitlin Olson, KaDee Strickland and Kristin Bauer van Straten.

Biotech Scientist:
It’s ‘Awesome’ That GMOs Cause Infertility, Death
http://www.activistpost.com/2012/10/biotech-scientist-its-awesome-that-gmos.html

Anthony Gucciardi
Activist Post

The debate as to whether or not genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are causing serious health issues like infertility and even death is proclaimed as ‘heated’ and ‘inconclusive’ by the mainstream media, but even the very scientists working behind the scenes appear to acknowledge the very reality of their effects. In one such communication I received from a very angry biotech scientist who proclaimed it was ‘awesome’ if GMOs were causing mass infertility and death, it becomes tragically clear that even many of the scientists working in the biotech field know full well that GMOs are causing significant bouts of disease across the globe.

Independently verified by both our team and a separate team of experts, this biotech scientist who works for a well-known firm was either apathetic or ignorant to ways in which you can conceal your identity through more advanced methods than what he utilized. Using profanity and a few words in all capital letters, it’s easy to see just how outraged this scientist is that in my article I deemed those who create GMOs and unleash them on the public without proper warning to be ‘traitors to humanity’. It appears he must have also read the comment section, where readers voiced their own (oftentimes stronger) opinions on these scientists.

In the email, the biotech scientist known as ‘Ed’ explains how he thinks it’s absolutely ‘awesome’ that GMOs are contributing to fertility, as he believes the world is overpopulated. He also attacks me personally for my work on warning the public over the dangers of GMOs (particularly the latest news over the research linking GMOs to organ failure and tumor development). As of right now we have not released the full name of ‘Ed’ nor his organization, but we may in the future after considering the legal concerns.

Here is the Full Email:

I am no traitor against humanity. If this **** causes infertility… Awesome!!
The world is over-populated, and people need to stop having children. This is one of earth’s largest problems.
If the earth wasn’t overpopulated, things like growth hormones wouldn’t EXIST.
The reason they do, is that the earth cannot produce enough food on its own to feed us all.
This is why GMO is actually saving the planet.
So **** you and your ********. I am doing humanity a ******* FAVOR!!!
Sincerely,
A REAL ‘traitor to humanity’

GMO Scientists Furious at Growing Public Awareness
This article first appeared at Natural Society, an excellent resource for health news and vaccine information.

The email comes at a time when public awareness over GMOs is growing at an exponential rate. With reality television shows being produced solely on the basis of studying the association between tumor development and GMOs and 2-to-1 lead on the California GMO labeling bill Prop 37, biotech scientists have become furious. After all, for years their corporations have been hiding behind biotech-funded phony science and high level politicians with deep ties to leading bitoech corporations. As WikiLeaks reveals, they even have many if not all US diplomats on the payroll.

But now, the grasp of biotech corporations on the food chain is dwindling. Russia, Poland, Hungary, Peru, and many other nations have all enacted full or at least partial bans on GMO varieties. In the US, Prop 37 is set to pass this November. While it appears some GMO scientists actually enjoy what they are doing to the public, they also know that the reign of GMO giants is rapidly decaying.

We will continue to post updates on this email and its origins once they are available.

Depopulation is Real – US Deaths Reach Record High

Depopulation is not merely an urban myth of globalist fantasy, but a true reality.

There are various agendas and proposals worldwide that are either implemented or on the table from Henry Kissinger’s National Security Study Memorandum 200 (NSSM 200) to Ted Turners admissions on video the globalists want us dead.

In fact this was the driving force (the globalists mindset) that sparked the idea of our new film SHADE the Motion Picture that will be available this December.

ABC reported;

U.S. deaths surpassed 2.5 million for the first time last year, reflecting the nation’s growing and aging population.

The increase of about 45,000 more deaths than in 2010 was not surprising. The annual number of deaths has been generally rising for decades as the population has swelled.

“If you have an older population, of course you have more deaths,” said Qian Cai, a University of Virginia demographer who studies population trends. “That doesn’t mean the population is less healthy or less vital.”

Before last year, the largest number of deaths was 2.47 million in 2008. The number of deaths can jump up or down from year to year, depending on whether there was a bad flu season or other factors.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released the report Wednesday. It’s drawn from a review of most death certificates from last year.

The report found that the rate of deaths per 100,000 people actually dropped to an all-time low. That was offset by the fact that there are so many Americans — about 314 million.

Other methods of depopulation worldwide include toxins in our water, air, poisons in toothpase, poisons in food, and more.

An excerpt from an Activist Post article reads;

Studies Prove GM Foods and Roundup Lethal

The recent and long-term French study from the University of Caen found that eating genetically modified corn and consuming trace levels of Monsanto’s Roundup chemical fertilizer caused rats to develop horrifying tumors, widespread organ damage, and premature death.

This study has been deemed “the most thorough research ever published into the health effects of GM food crops and the herbicide Roundup on rats.”

The study found:
  • Up to 50% of males and 70% of females suffered premature death.
  • Rats that drank trace amounts of Roundup (at levels legally allowed in the water supply) had a 200% to 300% increase in large tumors.
  • Rats fed GM corn and traces of Roundup suffered severe organ damage including liver damage and
  • The study fed these rats NK603, the Monsanto variety of GM corn that’s grown across North America and widely fed to animals and humans. This is the same corn that’s in your corn-based breakfast cereal, corn tortillas and corn snack chips.
The study caused Russia to ban imports of U.S. GM corn due to the cancer risk.

France and most of Europe have effectively banned feeding GM crops to humans and Monsanto was found guilty of ‘chemical poisoning’ earlier this year.

In the Unites States, one in two men and one in three women get cancer. What role does GM corn and soy play, which are common in most processed foods?

Walmart sells GM corn to its customers without labeling it as such.

Russian biologist Alexey V. Surov, and his colleagues were determined to discover if Monsanto’s genetically modified soy, grown on 91% of US soybean fields, leads to problems in growth or reproduction.

They found that after feeding hamsters for two years over three generations, those on the GM diet, and especially the group on the maximum GM soy diet, showed devastating results.

By the third generation, most GM soy-fed hamsters lost the ability to have babies. They also suffered slower growth, and a high mortality rate among the pups.

Scientific studies have linked Monsanto’s GM corn to organ failure.

Other studies have linked GM foods to cancer. Monsanto’s GM-derived rBGH (which is a genetically-altered growth hormone given to dairy cows to make them more milk) was shown to increase the production of IGF-1 from 70-1000%.

IGF-1 is a very powerful hormone that has been linked to a 2.5-4 times higher incidence of human colon, breast and prostate cancer.

Even Monsanto’s employees refuse to eat GM foods.

As the Health Ranger opined, GM foods appear to be the new Thalidomide, that morning sickness drug from the late 1950s that was quickly recalled for its deadly side effects.

It must also be noted that world famous researchers that expose the dangers of GM foods are routinely threatened, fired, ostracized and their findings denied by questionable “experts” with conflicts of interest. Studies proving GM food health risks are also routinely rejected by bought-and-paid-for government officials.

For many years Jeffrey Smith has been exposing the dangers of GM foods combined with government corruption. Much of his research can be viewed at the Institute for Responsible Technology.

Once one comes to terms with the fact that the global elites want us “useless eaters” dead, all of this can be put into focus.

The information needs to get out to the masses, thus exposing the oligarch’s diabolic agenda.

The High Cost of Losing Insect Populations To GMO: Ecological Interactions Are At Risk
Oct 7, 2012 by EDITOR

At first blush, many people would probably love to get rid of insects, such as pesky mosquitoes, ants and roaches. But a new study indicates that getting rid of insects could trigger some unwelcome ecological consequences, such as the rapid loss of desired traits in plants, including their good taste and high yields. Genetically modified crops and insecticides are facilitating this process.

Specifically, the study--described in the Oct. 5, 2012 issue of Science and funded by the National Science Foundation showed that evening primroses grown in insecticide-treated plots quickly lost, through evolution, defensive traits that helped protect them from plant-eating moths. The protective traits lost included the production of insect-deterring chemicals and later blooms that gave evening primroses temporal distance from plant-eating larvae that peak early in the growing season.

These results indicate that once the plants no longer needed their anti-insect defenses, they lost those defenses. What’s more, they did so quickly--in only three or four generations.

Anurag Agrawal, the leader of the study and a professor of ecology and evolutionary biology at Cornell University, explains, “We demonstrated that when you take moths out of the environment, certain varieties of evening primrose were particularly successful. These successful varieties have genes that produce less defenses against moths.”

In the absence of insects, the evening primroses apparently stopped investing energy in their anti-insect defenses, and so these defenses disappeared through natural selection. Agrawal says that he was “very surprised” by how quickly this process occurred, and that such surprises, “tell us something about the potential speed and complexities of evolution. In addition, experiments like ours that follow evolutionary change in real-time provide definitive evidence of evolution.”

Agrawal believes that his team’s study results are applicable to many other insect-plant interactions beyond evening primroses and moths. Here’s why: The ubiquitous consumption of plants by insects represents one of the dominant species interactions on Earth. With insect-plant relationships so important, it is widely believed that many plant traits originally evolved solely as defenses against insects. Some of these anti-insect plant defenses, such as the bitter taste of some fruits, are desirable.

“This experimental demonstration of how rapid evolution can shape ecological interactions supports the idea that we need to understand feedbacks between evolutionary and ecological processes in order to be able to predict how communities and ecosystems will respond to change,” said Alan Tessier, a program director in NSF’s Directorate for Biological Sciences.

“One of the things farmers are trying to do is breed agricultural crops to be more resistant to pests,” said Agrawal. “Our study indicates that various genetic tradeoffs may make it difficult or impossible to maintain certain desired traits in plants that are bred for pest resistance.”

"The era of GMO has caused an almost exponential increase in the use of insecticides in the last decade alone which is degrading nature in ways we simply can't understand in the short-term," said GMO researcher and scientist Magnus Ferreson.

In addition, oils produced by evening primroses have been used medicinally for hundreds of years and are beginning to be used as herbal remedies. Agrawal’s insights about pests that attack these plants and about chemical compounds produced by these plants may ultimately be useful to the herbal and pharmaceutical industries.

Agrawal says that most previous real-time experiments on evolution have been conducted with bacteria in test tubes in laboratories. “One of things we were excited about is that we were able to repeat that kind of experiment in nature. You can expect to see a lot more of this kind of thing in future. We will keep our experiment running as a long-term living laboratory. ”

More information about this study is available from a Cornell University press release.
